TapTime keeps cookie use minimal. We only use strictly necessary cookies. We do not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or tracking cookies. This policy lists the cookies we set and what each one does. For how we collect and process your personal data more broadly, see our Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies
A cookie is a small text file a website stores on your device. Websites use cookies to remember things like "this browser is signed in" between visits. Some cookies are essential; others (such as analytics or advertising cookies) are optional.
2. Cookies we use
All cookies TapTime sets are strictly necessary. They are required for the platform to function. You cannot opt out of them and still use TapTime.
accessToken- short-lived authentication token for your signed-in session.refreshToken- used to renew your session in the background so you do not have to sign in constantly.taptime_auth- a small indicator that tells the front-end you are signed in.taptime_admin_access,taptime_admin_refresh,taptime_admin_auth- the same three roles as above, but set only when you are signed in to the admin dashboard.
These cookies are HTTP-only (where applicable), marked Secure, and scoped to TapTime domains.
3. Cookies we do not use
- No analytics cookies. We do not run Google Analytics, Plausible, PostHog, Mixpanel, Segment, or any similar service.
- No advertising or retargeting cookies.
- No third-party social-media tracking pixels.
If this changes in the future (for example, we add product analytics), we will update this page, list the specific cookies, and add a consent banner before any non-essential cookie is set.
4. Third-party cookies
The only third parties that may set cookies on TapTime pages are:
- Stripe, on the payment form that appears during checkout. Stripe uses cookies to prevent fraud. See Stripe's cookie policy.
- Google / Microsoft / LinkedIn, only if you choose single sign-on. Those providers may set cookies on their own authentication domains during the redirect. See each provider's cookie policy.
5. Managing cookies
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. Doing so for TapTime's strictly-necessary cookies will sign you out and may prevent the platform from working correctly.
We do not show a cookie consent banner at this time because we only use strictly-necessary cookies, which do not require consent under the laws of most jurisdictions. If we ever introduce optional cookies, a consent banner will be added before they are set.
